Can I reuse my MagicBand or card the next time I visit Walt Disney World Resort?

A.

Yes. If you have a MagicBand or card that you like, and it is in working condition, you can continue to use it when you return to Walt Disney World Resort.

If you have multiple MagicBands or cards, you can manage which ones are active in the MagicBand section of My Profile. To ensure access to all MagicBand benefits, you may want to purchase a new MagicBand.

Here are some helpful tips to consider before your next stay:

  • Want to use a MagicBand? You can purchase a MagicBand online and at select merchandise locations at Walt Disney World Resort. Guests will have the option to purchase MagicBands up to 10 days before arrival at special pre-arrival prices.
  • Already have a MagicBand from a previous visit? You can reuse your current MagicBand. Depending on how much time has passed since you initially used your MagicBand, your ability to receive Disney PhotoPass attraction videos and select attraction photos may be limited.
  • Prefer not to use a MagicBand? At your convenience, swing by the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel to pick up a Key to the World card, which can be used in lieu of a MagicBand. Another option is to use a Disney MagicMobile pass—available in the My Disney Experience app. It is a convenient and more contactless way to access the MagicBand feature for theme park entry through the power of eligible iPhones, Apple Watch or Google Pay enabled Android phones.
  • Want to skip check-in and go straight to your room? Use convenient Online Check-In service and Direct-to-Room service, which allows you to get to the fun faster with real-time, room-ready updates—and even lets you use the My Disney Experience app as a digital room key at your Disney Resort hotel.

  • New or existing Disney Resort hotel reservations and tickets: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
    Dining reservations, technical support and other enquiries: daily from noon to 10:00 PM
